Privacy Policy

The short version
ArtistManager runs on your computer. There is no ArtistManager account, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. Your songs, lyrics, footage, videos and settings stay on your computer, and the developer never receives them.
The app only talks to other services when you ask it to, such as posting to TikTok or searching stock footage. Those requests go straight from your computer to that service.
What is stored on your computer
Artist profiles, projects, songs, lyrics, timing, downloaded footage, rendered videos, caption templates, scheduled posts and settings are kept in the storage folder you choose and in the app’s own data folder.
Sign-ins for TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest are encrypted with Windows’ built-in protection, so only your Windows account can read them. API keys you enter (for example Pixabay) are stored locally.
Automatic lyrics (speech recognition) runs entirely on your computer. Your audio is never uploaded.
Services you choose to connect
TikTok: when you connect an account, the app receives a sign-in token and your basic profile and creator info (name, avatar, allowed privacy settings). When you post, it uploads the video, caption and settings you picked. Stats reads view, like, comment and share counts for videos you posted. TikTok’s privacy policy applies to what you send them.
Instagram (Meta): when you connect a professional account, the app receives a sign-in token and your username. When you post, it uploads the video and caption as a Reel. Stats reads insights for those posts. Meta’s privacy policy applies.
Pinterest: when connected, the app reads your boards and pins so you can import images you saved. It never posts or changes anything on Pinterest.
Pixabay and Pexels: your search words are sent to them to find footage, and the files you pick are downloaded.
LRCLIB: when you look up synced lyrics, the song title and artist are sent to lrclib.net.
Downloads: setting up automatic lyrics downloads the speech engine and a language model from GitHub and Hugging Face. Checking for updates contacts the update server. Like any website, these servers can see your IP address and the app version.
Send to phone
Send to phone starts a small server on your local network while the window is open. It serves only the video you picked, at a link containing a random code, and stops when you close it. Nothing goes through the internet.
Removing your data
Disconnect an account under Artists & Accounts to delete its saved sign-in from your computer. You can also remove ArtistManager’s access in TikTok, Instagram or Pinterest settings.
To remove everything, uninstall the app and delete its storage folder. Posts you published stay on the platforms until you delete them there.
Children
ArtistManager is not meant for children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect anyone’s personal information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will ship with the app and be posted on the website with a new date. Last updated 8 October 2026.
